Consumers have yet to fully adopt smart home tech because they don’t see a need for it in their home.
We want our homes to run a certain way, but we share our space with people and people make mistakes.

No one is perfect. We all fall victim to human error.
DIY-ers look to Lowe’s to help make their home perfect. The perfect wall color, the perfect flooring. They take pride in making their visions come to life.
Even though people get their homes to look and feel a certain way, no matter what these consumers do they can’t get their homes to run exactly the way they want them to because of the imperfect people they share it with. Lowe's can show that smart home tech can help their home run better.

THE CREATIVE CONCEPT
People aren’t perfect.
Lowe’s knows that people make mistakes, including you. Leaving the lights on, forgetting to lock the door, constantly changing the thermostat. Lowe’s smart home tech can help your home run better no matter who you share that space with.

Sharing a home with people can be tough. People aren’t perfect and when people aren’t perfect there is complaining.
Lowe's can show they have a solution for these pesky problems by trolling people on their social accounts.
As consumers shop around the store, we wanted to call attention to the benefits of purchasing a smart product over a regular product.
SXSW x AIRBNB
We are talking about smart home TECH. There is no better place to stake your claim on the tech industry than SXSW. Through a partnership with Airbnb, Lowe's can outfit homes around the city with a handful of smart home products, such as a Google Home Mini, smart locks, or a smart thermostat.
